Tegel Foods Ltd is seeking a self-motivated people to work in our Livestock operations located around Canterbury.

We currently have opportunities at our chicken farms based near Leeston & Kirwee and at our hatchery in Hornby.

To be considered for this role you will need to:

• Possess an affinity with livestock and be able to follow our strict animal welfare code
• Be physically fit and strong
• Be flexible with hours and able to work rostered shifts including weekends
• Be motivated to learn new and varied tasks
• Able to keep accurate records
• Have ability to work with machinery
• Be able to communicate fluently in English
• Hold full drivers license and have your own reliable transport

Please note that due to our strict bio-security restrictions you must not have any contact with pigs or birds.

Our recruitment process will include a mandatory pre-employment medical, a drug screen and a numeracy and literacy test.
